"Yes, you read that right. We are closing our storefront location.

Online only was our goal from the start. The storefront was an added bonus when all we really needed was a warehouse for storage and shipping. I thought it would be awesome to have a shop with events, and it was.

After our events grew too large the landlord shut it down and they became a struggle. Soon after that we had pandemic shutdowns. I learned that while I loved hanging out with everyone, I was also getting less important work done on the business. I was working 12 hours a day and still missing important deadlines I set for myself. The pandemic also exposed how short life can be and how unexpected situations can steal time, family and friends away forever.

TIME is my most valued currency. With plans to travel and also spend more time with family and friends, I decided it was time to automate whatever I can to free up my time and focus on my mental health.

Closing the shop was a hard choice. Just know that it is not a bad thing for my company, it is actually a good thing. Yes, I will be losing money, but also expenses due to rising rent and gas prices. Most importantly it will give me location independence and the freedom to breathe. It also gives me the freedom to come to more events and conventions to see everyone.

Thank you to everyone who visited the shop and let me talk their ears off. Many of you are not just customers, you are my true friends. Whether you spent money or not, I've always enjoyed just hanging out and talking about our hobbies and why we collect the things we collect. I very sincerely appreciate all of you and we are not going anywhere, just starting a new chapter."
